CSV data import
CSV stands for "Comma Separated Values". This is one of the most used data interchange formats worldwide.
Many applications can create CSV-files directly. You can for example create a charts base data in your favorite spreadsheet, export it to a file in CSV-format and use the exported data right away with Arcadiacharts.
CSV can also be read from a string-variable. This is useful in situations where you want to display data that changes frequently while the user watches the webpage (e.g. water-level, stock price, temperature...). After retrieving the new data in the background, you just have to create a new string with the data in CSV format and repaint the chart.
The data import is flexible and supports data organized in rows and columns, different decimal formats, definable delimiters and date value formats.
